What lore-friendly means for FiveM vehicles
What lore-friendly means for FiveM vehicles, why RP servers stick to fictional brands, and what to check before buying an add-on car.
Open the vehicle list on most FiveM servers and you'll see a stock Pegassi parked next to a one-to-one copy of a real supercar, real badge on the bonnet. Lore-friendly cars are the other approach, and it's the only one we build.
What it means
A lore-friendly car looks like it belongs in Los Santos. GTA-universe brands (Annis, Übermacht, Vapid, Pegassi, Maibatsu and the rest), fictional model names, fictional logos, liveries and plates. It can take inspiration from a real car, but nothing on it carries a real trademark.
Why RP servers want it
- It fits the world. Players are in San Andreas. A Bravado or a Declasse belongs there; a real badge doesn't.
- The city stays consistent. Dealerships, garages and fleets all using the same fictional brands makes the server feel built, not collected.
- Rules. Tebex and Cfx.re don't allow paid assets with real brands or models ripped from other games. Lore-friendly assets keep your store, server and Keymaster account clear of that.
What to check before buying
- No real badges, grille logos, wheel caps or plate frames.
- Add-on resource, not a replacement for a base-game car.
- Open meta files so you can change handling, prices and liveries.
- Sensible file sizes and real LODs, so it doesn't hurt performance or vanish at distance.
- Delivered through Cfx.re Keymaster, so updates are easy.
How we do it
Each GKModz car gets its own fictional branding, built-in tuning parts and extras, and ships as an add-on with open meta files. The product page lists the spawn code, tuning parts, liveries and file size for every car.
